CLONES: 10/41 is derived by hybridisation of NSO myeloma cell line with splenic lymphocytes from BALB/c mouse immunized with Vit B12 conjugated to Keyhole Limpet Haemocyanin.

SPECIFICITY: Characterization by ELISA using solid phase antigen. The table shows the absorbance values from ELISA analysis for cross-reactivity with selected antigens. The greater the absorbance value the greater the relative affinity of the antibody for that metabolite.

The antibody does not cross react with the carrier molecule used for immunization (KLH).

APPLICATIONS: * Sandwich RIA or EIA.

PRESENTATION: 1 mg of murine monoclonal antibody (A280nm) dissolved in phosphate buffered saline. Contains 10mM sodium azide as preservative.

STORAGE: Purified monoclonal antibodies are generally stable for long periods at 4oC. However repeated warming to room temperature and re-cooling may result in a loss of activity and hence effective working titre. It is recommended that monoclonal antibodies are aliquotted upon receipt and then stored at -20C. After thawing they should then be used as a stock solution for up to 60 days. Dilute working solutions are best prepared on the day of use.
