Anti-RAT CD CLUSTERED ANTIBODIES
RDI Divison of researchd Industries Intl offers a wide line of antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (flow cytometry, neutralization, blotting, histochemistry, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below. All products are for in vitro research use only-not for use in or on humans or animals-not for use in diagnostics. Catalog#: RDI-rtCD42D-M4 Price: $500.00/1pkg 0.5mg
also available FITC conj cat#RDi-RTCD42D-4FT $406.00/100ug
Supplied: Purified form: 0.5mg in 1ml (0.5mg/ml) 10mM phosphate buffer pH7.2 with 150mM NaCl and 0.09% sodium azide.
Immunogen: Wistar Rat Platelets
Ig Isotype: mouse (BALB/C) IgG2ak
Purification: Purified from TCS by affinity chromatography
Reactivity: Clone RPM.4 Mab reacts with CD42d (Platelet glycoprotein V, GPV), an 88-kDa glycoprotein which noncovalently associates with GPIb and GPIX to form a receptor for von Willebrand factor on megakaryocytes and resting platelets. The binding sites for von Willebrand factor and thrombin have been localized to the GPIb chain of the GPIb-V-IX complex. GPV is cleaved by thrombin to release a 70-kDa soluble fragment, which contains the epitope recognized by mAb RPM.4. 1 Although the rat CD42d protein’s structure is similar to that of human CD42d, the RPM.4 antibody does not cross-react with human platelets.
USE: -flow cytometry(<1ug/1M cells)
-not recommended for western blot
