Product Description
PHPT1 polyclonal antibody is available at gentaur for next week delivery
Background: PHPT1 is an EDTA-insensitive phosphohistidine phosphatase that catalyzes the dephosphorylation of phosphopeptide I. Protein histidine phosphorylation and dephosphorylation in eukaryotes has been sparsely studied compared to protein serine/threonine and tyrosine phosphorylation, although protein histidine phosphorylation is estimated to account for about 6% of total protein phosphorylation in eukaryotes. Ek et al. (2002) detected no activity of PHPT1 towards phosphoserine, phosphothreonine, or phosphotyrosine peptides.
Applications: WB IHC
Purification&Purity: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Storage&Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity: PHPT1 polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of PHPT1 protein.
