Product Description
HXK III polyclonal antibody is available at gentaur for next week delivery
Background: Hexokinases phosphorylate glucose to produce glucose 6 phosphate, thus committing glucose to the glycolytic pathway. In vertebrates there are four major glucose phosphorylating isoenzymes, designated hexokinase I, II, III and IV (glucokinase). Similar to hexokinases I and II, the allosteric enzyme hexokinase III is inhibited by its product glucose 6 phosphate. The catalytic activity of hexokinase III is associated with the C terminus while regulatory function is associated with the N terminus.
Applications: WB IHC
Purification&Purity: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Storage&Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity: HXK III polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of HXK III protein.
