Applications: suitable for immunoblotting (western or dot blot),ELISA, immunoprecipitation, conjugation and most immunological methods requiring high titer and specificity. -reacts with the tetrameric hemeprotein catalase from all mammalian sources. Since significant sequence conservation of catalase has been reported it is likely that the antibody will also recognize catalase from most aerobic microorganisms. Catalase catalyzes the conversion of hydrogen peroxide to water and oxygen.

Recommended Dilutions: Not determined. Optimal titers for applications should be determined by the researcher.

Reactivity: not tested with other species

Storage Conditions: Store vial at 4'C prior to restoration. Re-store with 5.0 ml of deionized water (or equivalent). Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This product is stable for several weeks at 4'C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. For extended storage aliquot contents and freeze at -20'C or below. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Expiration date is one (1)year from date of reconstituion.
