RDI Divison of researchd Industries Intl offers a wide line of antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (flow cytometry, neutralization, blotting, histochemistry, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below. All products are for in vitro research use only-not for use in or on humans or animals-not for use in diagnostics. Lot number:
Tests/vial: 200
Specificity:Cell Type Human T lymphocytes Af MW. 50 kD.
Reactivity:The monoclonal antibody is directed against the CD2-antigen (T11-antigen), which is expressed on human T lymphocytes. The monoclonal antibody reacts with all human peripheral T lymphocytes and 90% of the thymocytes. The monoclonal antibody blocks the rosette-formation of human T lymphocytes with sheep erythrocytes.

Methods: Indirect immunofluorescence staining with analysis by FACS or fluorescence microscopy.
Clone: CLB-163 This clone has been derived from hybridization of SP2/0 cells with spleen cells of a (BALB/c x A/J) mouse immunized with cells of a patient with Sezary Syndrome.
Mouse isotype: The monoclonal antibody is of the mouse subclass IgG1.
Source: Ascites fluid of tumor bearing BALB/c mice.
Purification: Ammoniumsulphate precipitation and ion exchange chromatography.
Packing: Each vial contains 1ml with approximately 0.1mg/ml monoclonal antibody and 10mg BSA in 20 mM TRIS, 150mM NaCI, pH 8.0.
Preservative: Merthiolate (0.001%).
Storage: Monoclonal antibodies should be stored below -18`C. Repeated thawing and freezing may reduce the antibody activity and should be avoided.

Mouse ANTI-HUMAN CD2+ T LYMPHOCYTES
PRODUCT CODE :RDI-CBL140 $375.00/vial
Also available: FITC labeled cat#RDI-CBL140FT $395.00/100 Tests
PE labeled cat#RDI-CBL140PE $469.00/100 Tests
CLONE: XIX.8
ISOTYPE: IgG2a
SOURCE: Mouse ascitic fluid
PURIFICATION Ion exchange chromatography following ammonium sulphate precipitation.
SPECIFICITY: 50Kd MW lymphocyte surface antigen identified by monoclonal antibodies belonging to the CD2 cluster. The antigen is expressed on all peripheral blood T lymphocytes, majority of thymocytes and malignant cells of T cell origin, including T- ALL cells. Normal B lymphocytes, monocytes or granulocytes do not express surface CD2 antigen. Common ALL cells do not express CD2 antigen.
The antigen identified by CD2 type monoclonal antibodies has been characterised as the receptor for sheep erythrocytes and pre-treatment of lymphocytes with CD2 monoclonal antibodies inhibits E rosette formation. The antigen also functions as the receptor for the CD 58 antigen (LFA-3).
Antigen distribution: T-cells (E+) 100%
Thymocytes 95 3%
Peripheral blood lymphocytes 82 5%
NK-cells (CD16+) 50 10%
Granulocytes < 1%
Monocytes < 1%
B-cells (E-) < 1%
APPLICATIONS: * Identification of T lymphocytes by indirect immunofluorescence staining
* Leukaemia and lymphoma phenotyping
* Identification of normal and malignant T lymphocytes in cryostat sections of frozen tissue
* Immunoprecipitation of the CD2 antigen
* Isolation or removal of T lymphocytes by FACS or panning techniques

PRESENTATION: Each monoclonal is delivered in a sealed vial at a concentration of not less than 200g/2ml in phosphate buffered saline containing 10mM sodium azide and 1mg/ml of bovine serum albumin. We recommend that each laboratory determine an optimum working titre for use in its particular application.
STORAGE: Purified monoclonal antibodies are generally stable for long periods at 4oC. However repeated warming to room temperature and re-cooling may result in a loss of activity and hence effective working titre. It is recommended that monoclonal antibodies are aliquotted upon receipt and then stored at -20C. After thawing they should then be used as a stock solution for up to 30 days. Dilute working solutions are best prepared on the day of use.
