CD CLUSTERED ANTIBODIES

(anti-Human and others as indicated)

NOTE: 10% Discount on purchases of  3 or more any combination of monoclonal CD antibodies. Please inquire for bulk or custom formulations (without preservative or carrier).

RDI Division of Fitzgerald Industries Intl  offers a wide line of  antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (flow cytometry, neutralization, blotting, histochemistry, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below. All products are for in vitro research use only-not for use in or on humans or animals-not for use in diagnostics. Price/availability/specifications subject to change without notice.

Mouse anti-human CD166 (ALCAM) antibodies

RDI-CD166-3A6       $344.00/100ug

Package Size: 100ug in 0.1ml (1mg/ml) 50mM sodium phosphate pH7.5, 1000mM Potassium Chloride, 150mM NaCl,, 0.5mg/ml gentamicin sulfate.

Prep: purified by Protein A from TCS. Purity >95% by SDS-Page.

Species: mouse IgG1k

Immunogen: Human thymic epithelial cells

CLONE: 3A6

Workshop: VI, Code#A109

Activity: Reacts with human CD166 (Alcam, activated leucocyte cell adhesion molecule. mr 100,000 with five Ig-like domains), a type 1 glycoprotein expressed on activated T cells, B cells and monocytes and appears to be the ligand for CD6. Human CD166 may be important for activation of T cells. Alcam is a ligand for CD6 and Mab from clone 3A6 blocks binding of CD6 to CD166.
-tissue distribution:activated T and B cells, thymic epithelium, hassal's bodies, fibroblasts, endothelial cells, epidermal keratinocytes and neurons.

-histochemistry (acetone fixed frozen sections)

-immunoprecipitation

-blocks binding of CD6 to CD166

Application: 500K cultured Raji cells per tube were washed and preincubated 5 minutes with 20ul of 250ug/ml human IgG(to block non specific binding) after which they were incubated 45 minutes on ice with 80ul of the anti-CD166 antibody at a concentration of 5ug/ml. Cells were washed twice and incubated with 50ul of secondary reagent Goat anti-mouse IgG:FITC, after which they were washed three times, fixed and analyzed using a BD FACSCalibur. Cells stained positive with a mean shift of 0.87 log 10 fluorescent units when compared to a mouse IgG1 negative control at a similar concentration.

Storage: Store at 4 DEG C.
