CD100 antibodies from RDI Divison of researchd Industries

29th Aug 2021

RDI Divison of researchd Industries Intl offers a wide line of antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (flow cytometry, neutralization, blotting, histochemistry, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below. All products are for in vitro research use only-not for use in or on humans or animals-not for use in diagnostics. Price/availability/specifications subject to change without notice.

DATA SHEET: Mouse anti-human CD100 clone A8

Catalog#: RDI-CD100-A8 $312.00/vial $281.00/vial 3 or more

also available FITC labeled cat#RDI-CD100-A8FT $406.00/100 tests

Package Size: 100ug purified in 50mM Tris-Hcl (pH 8.0), 0.15M NaCl and 0.1% sodium azide. (sodium azide is toxic, dilute azide compounds with copious amounts of water when disposing in drain to avoid accumulation of explosive deposits-avoid contact with acids.)

Prep: purified from tissue culture supernatant via Protein G affinity chromatography.

Species: mouse IgG1,k

CLONE: A8

Workshop Code: Workshop V, BP383,S233

Activity: Reacts with human CD100, a 150kD homodimer cell surface antigen expressed on most hematopoietic cells, except immature bone marrow cells. CD100 is detectable on NK cells, EBV-transformed B cells, monocytes and tunmor T cell lines. It has been labeled a "semaphorin" because of its ability to modify CD40-CD154 B cell signalling by augmening B cell aggregation and survival.

Application: -Indirect immunofluorescence cell surface staining , Titer for each application

Mouse anti-CD100 (Human/Mouse/Rat/Rabbit)

cat# RDI-CD100abm-30 $440.00/50ug

RDI-CD100abm-30X $625.00/150ug

CD100 was originally described as a 150kDa surface T-cell antigen induced after T-cell activation. Human CD100 exhibits widespread gene expression but is most prominent in peripheral lymphocytes, thymus, skeletal muscle, and brain. The full CD100 protein is 862 amino acids with homolgy to the semaphorin family of proteins at its extracellular domain followed by a short Ig-like domain. The short cytoplasmic domain contains a putative tyrosine phosphorylation site which may be the site for association with intracellular kinases. Cells that overexpress CD100 induce a rapid aggregation of B cells and increase the CD90L-B cell aggregation. Because semaphorins are axon-guiding molecules for the nervous system, it has been proposed that CD100 may have a guidance role in the immune system.

Antigen: derived from human CD100 aa 721-861 (cytoplasmic) sequence

isotype: mIgG1

Clone ref: 30

package: 50ug (200ul) or 150ug (600ul) purified antibody (0.25mg/ml) in a 50%glycerol, 20mM sodium phosphate pH7.5, 150mM NaCl, 1mg/ml BSA and 1.5mM sodium azide.

Use: Suitable for western blot on human, rat and mouse using approx 0.25ug/ml ab on total cell lysate. Major band at Mw 150kDa. Recommend 2-3 hour RT or overnight 4 DEG C incubation with enhanced chemiluminescence detection. Also tested for immunofluorescnece and histochemsitry (positive control rabbit spleen)

Storage: Store at -20 DEG C upon receipt. Avoid frequent freeze thaw cycles. Recommend aliquoting. Avoid frequent freeze thaw cycles.

Anti-CD100 Polyclonal Antibody ( C term)

Catalog Number: RDI-ALS24202 $312.00/vial $250.00/vial 5+

Quantity: 100ug in 0.1ml (1mg/ml) PBS containing 0.02% sodium azide.

Bulk: cat#RDI-ALS24202X1 $1875.00/1mg

Description: Semaphorins are neuronal chemorepellants that direct pioneering neurons during nervous system development. CD100 is a novel semaphorin that induces B cells to aggregate and improves their viability in vitro. CD100 modifies CD40-CD40L B-cell signaling by augmenting B-cell aggregation and survival and down-regulating CD23 expression. CD72 is a lymphocyte receptor for the Class IV semaphorin CD100, which is involved in regulating B cell signaling.

Host Species: Rabbit

Specificity: Reacts with residues 777-788 [KPKSDFCDREQS] of the human CD100 protein.

Applications: Western blot - Use at 1:500 to 1:1,000 dilution.

Format: Purified IgG

Storage: Maintain at +2-8°C for 3 months or at -20°C for longer periods. Stable for 1 year. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
