  ANTIBODIES

(anti-Human and others as indicated)

RDI Division of Fitzgerald Industries Intl  offers a wide line of  antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (neutralization, blotting, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below.

DATA SHEET: Rabbit anti-Acid Phosphatase   (potato)

Catalog#: RDI-ACDPHOSabr    $281.00/vial

Also available HRP conjugated: cat#RDI-ACDPHOS-HRP    $345.00/20mg

                                 Biotin conj: cat#RDI-ACDPHOS-BT      $312.00/10mg

Size: 50 mg (lyophilized)

Antibody Concentration: approx 10mg/ml

Buffer: 0.02 M Potassium Phosphate, 0.15 M Sodium Chloride,pH 7.2

Stablizer: None

Preservative: 0.01% (w/v) Sodium Azide

Antigen: acid phosphatase (potato)

Applications: suitable for immunoblotting (western under non-reducing conditions) or dot blot),ELISA, immunoprecipitation, conjugation and most immunological methods requiring high titer and specificity.

Reactivity: Reacts with acid phosphatase from potato. Cross reactivity with acid phosphatase from other sources is likely. Under non-reducing conditions a 96kDa protein is reactive by western blotting. Acid phosphatase is a heterodimer of 44kDa units. Antibody will recognize EI, EII and EIII forms of the enzyme.

Recommended Dilutions: Not determined. Optimal titers for applications should be determined by the researcher.

Storage Conditions: Store vial at 4'C prior to restoration. Re-store with 5.0 ml of deionized water (or equivalent). Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This product is stable for several weeks at 4'C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. For extended storage aliquot contents and freeze at -20'C or below. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Expiration date is one (1)year from date of reconstituion.

Purity and Specificity: This product is an IgG fraction antibody purified from monospecific antiserum by a multi-step process which includes delipidation, salt fractionation and ion exchange chromatography followed by extensive dialysis against the buffer stated above. Cross reactivity against acid phosphatases from other sources may occur but have not been specifically determined.

Precautions: For In vitro research Use Only. Not for use in or on humans or animals or for diagnostics.

It is the responsibility of the user to comply with all local/state and Federal rules in the use of this product. We are not responsible for any patent infringements that might result with the use of or derivation of this product.
