  ANTIBODIES

(anti-Human and others as indicated)

RDI Division of Fitzgerald Industries Intl  offers a wide line of  antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (neutralization, blotting, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below.

Goat anti-human Resistin

cat# RDI-RESISTabGP      $250.00/50ug

       RDI-RESISTabGP1    $375.00/100ug

-also available Biotin conj cat#RDI-RESISTabGPB $250/25ug or RDI-RESISTabGPB1 $375/50ug

Preparation : Produced from sera of goats pre-immunized with highly pure (>98%) recombinant hResistin (human Resistin). Anti-hResistin specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography employing immobilized hResistin matrix.

Source : Goats

Formulation : A sterile filtered antibody solution (1mg/ml) was lyophilized from 0.5X PBS pH 7.4.

Stability : The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20 DEG C.

Reconstitution: When reconstituted in sterile water to a concentration of >0.2 mg/ml the antibody is stable for at least six weeks at 2-4 DEG C.

Applications:

Neutralization No data Available.

Elisa To detect hResistin by direct ELISA (using 100µl/well antibody solution) a concentration of at least 0.5µg/ml of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant hResistin.

Western Blot To detect hResistin by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1 - 0.2 µg/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hResistin is 1.5 - 3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Anti-Human Resistin-Like Molecule beta (hRELMb) Protein Polyclonal Antibody - Discontinued

Catalog Number: RDI-ALS24255 $312.00/vial $250.00/vial 5+

                            Bulk 1mg=$1875.00 cat#RDI-ALS24255X

Quantity: 100ug in 0.1ml (1mg/ml) PBS containing 0.02% sodium azide.

Description: A family of resistin-like molecules (RELMs) has been identified in rodents and humans. Resistin is a hormone produced by fat cells. RELMalpha is a secreted protein that has a restricted tissue distribution with highest levels in adipose tissue. Another family member, RELMbeta, is a secreted protein expressed only in the gastrointestinal tract, particularly the colon, in both mouse and human. RELMbeta gene expression is highest in proliferative epithelial cells and is markedly increased in tumors, suggesting a role in intestinal proliferation. Resistin and the RELMs share a cysteine composition and other signature features. Thus, the RELMs together with resistin comprise a class of tissue-specific signaling molecules.

Host Species: Rabbit

Specificity: Reacts with the residues 32-47 of the human RELMbeta protein.

Applications: Western blot - Use at 1:500 to 1:1,000 dilution. However, the investigator should determine the optimal dilution for a specific application such as immunohistochemistry.

Format: Affinity purified IgG

Storage: Maintain at +2-8°C for 3 months or at -20°C for longer periods. Stable for 1 year. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
