Human Cytokine/Growth Factor/Chemokines Sample Spec sheets (subject to change without notice):

DATA SHEET:  :recombinant Human Thymic Stromal Lymphopoietin (TSLP)

-TSLP is a hemopoietic protein that is expressed in the heart, liver and prostate. TSLP  overlaps biological activities with IL-7 and binds with the heterodimeric receptor complex consisting of the IL-7R alpha chain (IL-7Ra) and the TSLP-specific chain (TSLPR). Like IL-7, TSLP induces phosphorylation of STAT3 and STAT5, but uses kinases other than the JAKs for activation. TSLP prohibited apoptosis and stimulated growth of the human acute myeloid leukemia (AML)-derived cell line MUTZ3. It induces the release of T cell-attracting chemokines TARC and MDC from monocytes and activates CD11c(+) dendritic cells (DCs). TSLP activated DCs primed naïve T cells to produce the proallergic cytokines (IL-4, IL-5, IL-13, TNFa) while down-regulating IL-10 and IFN-gamma suggesting a role in initiating allergic inflammation. This recombinant human TSLP is a 15.0 kDa protein consisting of 132 amino

Catalog#: RDI-3062      lot#

Package Size: 10 micrograms $235.00

                          Mini-Pack: cat#RDI-3062p    $95.00/2ug

Supplied: Lyophilized powder with no additives.

Source: E. Coli

Purity: >98% by SDS-Page and HPLC analysis. Endotoxin level is less than 0.1ng per ug (1EU/ug) of protein

Reconstitution: Lyophilized TSLP should be reconstituted in water to a concentration of 0.1-1mg/ml. Allow to set at least 30 minutes at 4 DEG C, mix well. If desired, tighten cap and centrifuge for 1 minute at 1000rpm to concentrate material in vial. This solution can be diluted into other buffered solutions or stored at 4 DEG C for up to 1 week or at -20 DEG C for future use.

-Note:If this material is not to be used for coating or labeling (or other applications requiring carrier free material), the addition of 0.1% BSA or HSA to any further dilution buffers or dilution in sterile culture media is recommended to enhance stability and minimize absorption to vial. Ideally, maintain stock >20ug/ml.

Storage: The lyophilized powder is stable at room temperature for a few weeks but it is best stored desiccated at -20 DEG C. Reconstituted TSLP should be stored in working aliquots at -20 DEG C. AVOID FREQUENT FREEZE THAW CYCLES.
