Human Cytokine/Growth Factor/Chemokines Sample Spec sheets (subject to change without notice):

Recombinant Human BD-1

see below cat#RDI-3051 (36aa form) and  cat#RDI-3051A  (47aa form)

DATA SHEET:recombinant Human BD-1 (36aa)

-Recombinant Human beta-defensin-1 (BD-1) is an antimicrobial peptide which belongs to the distinct family of beta-defensins. Recombinant Human BD-1 is a 3.9 kDa protein containing 36 amino acid residues

Catalog#: RDI-3051

Package Size: 20 micrograms $231.00     $219.00/pack 2+

                    Mini-Pack: cat#RDI-3051p $94.00/5ug

Supplied: Lyophilized powder from 10 mM Acetic Acid with no additives.

Source: E. Coli

Purity: >95% by SDS-Page analysis. Endotoxin level is less than 0.1ng per ug (1EU/ug) of protein

Reconstitution: Lyophilized BD-1 should be reconstituted in water to a concentration of 0.1-1mg/ml. Allow to set at least 30 minutes at 4 DEG C, mix well. If desired, tighten cap and centrifuge for 1 minute at 1000rpm to concentrate material in vial. This solution can be diluted into other buffered solutions or stored at 4 DEG C for up to 1 week or at -20 DEG C for future use.

-Note:If this material is not to be used for coating or labeling (or other applications requiring carrier free material), the addition of 0.1% BSA or HSA to dilution buffers or dilution in sterile culture media is recommended to enhance stability and minimize absorption to vial. Ideally, maintain stock >20ug/ml.

Storage: The lyophilized powder is stable at room temperature for a few weeks but it is best stored desiccated at -20 DEG C. Reconstituted BD- 1 should be stored in working aliquots at -20 DEG C. AVOID FREQUENT FREEZE THAW CYCLES.

Reactivity: Determined by its ability to chemoattract human peripheral blood dendritic cells using a concentration range of 100.0-1000.0 ng/ml.

AA Sequence: DHYNCVSSGG QCLYSACPIF TKIQGTCYRG KAKCCK
