Supplied: lyophilized from 0.01M HCL.

Source: Human Heart tissue. Blood samples from the tissue donors were tested and found negative for HBsAG, HIV-1 and HIV-2 antibodies & HCV.

Purity: >95% by SDS-Page analysis, major band appears at 29 kDa

Immunological activity also checked by binding to monoclonal Troponin I antibodies. -Protein content determined using   spectrophotometric measurement using formula: A280-A320/0.3.

Storage: -20 DEG C in lyophilized form. After reconstitution, the solution should be stored at -20 DEG C. Avoid frequent freeze thaw cycles.

Reconstitution: Solubility is limited at neutral pH and physiological salt concentration. Can be reconstituted with sterile distilled water. -We recommend dissolving in a urea/Tris buffer (7 M Urea, 5mM EDTA, 15mM mercaptoethanol, 20mM Tris pH 7.5 buffer) and maintain stock concentration of 0.1mg/ml.

Precautions: For In vitro research Use Only. Not for use in or on humans or animals or for diagnostics . All material should be handled at Biosafety Level II conditions and treated as if   capable of transmitting disease. It is the responsibility of the user to comply with all local/state and Federal rules in the use of this product. HUMAN CARDIAC TROPONIN I   Standard Set

cat# RDI-TROPI/STDKT7   Price: $938.00/set

bulk pricing and custom manufacturing   available upon request

Description: The Human Cardiac Troponin I standard set is intended for use as a reference and control material in assays of human cardiac troponin I.

Presentation: Each Kit consist of 7 lyophilized vials of 1ml of human native troponIn complex each with values of approx 0, 0.33, 1, 3.2, 10.2, 30, 95 ng/ml (see actual vlaues on each vial) Other value ranges can be prepared upon request.

The material is lyophilized from a solution of native human troponin complex (except the 0 standard) in normal human serum with the addition of proprietary stabilizers. Human native troponin complex purified from human cardiac muscle, blood samples from the tissue donor was tested and found negative for HBsAg, HCV,HIV 1 & 2 antibodies and syphilis by FDA approved methods. Human serum was tested and found negative for HBsAg, HCV, HIV 1 & 2 antibodies and syphilis by FDA approved methods.

Stability: Store unopened at -10 to -20 DEG C. Before use, reconstitute each standard in 1ml of distilled water to obtain the concentration of cardiac troponin I which is indicated on the vial. After reconstitution:

a) The product is stable for 1 year if stored at -20 DEG C (repeated freezing and thawing does not influence the stability).

b) The product is stable for up to 6 weeks if   stored at 2 to 8 DEG C.

Cautions: Each lab must establish its own mean and standard deviations for their particular application. The indicated concentrations are to be used as guidelines since differences in protocols, assay components , instrumentation and others can cause variations. See Back Side for Additional Warning!

Animal Troponin I Antigen Calibrator set

Catalogue # RDI-TRK8T60a   $1750.00

Source: Troponin complex and troponin I were purified from monkey (Macaque Cyno), canine, rat, rabbit, and bovine cardiac tissues. Blood samples from monkey tissue were tested and found negative in tuberculin test, for Herpes B virus and SIV.

Purity: More than 70% according to SDS-PAGE in reducing conditions. Immunological activity confirmed by reaction with monoclonal antibody that is specific for troponin I cardiac isoform.

Application: Troponin I is a sensitive and specific marker of myocardial tissue damage and therefore extensively used in animal preclinical safety tests of new drugs.

Purification: Affinity chromatography, ion-exchange chromatography.

Presentation: HyTest Animal Troponin Antigens kit includes cardiac troponin I ( 50 mg) and troponin complex (50 mg per troponin I content) from monkey, canine, rat, rabbit and bovine. Troponin I concentration was determined spectrophotometrically. Troponin I is lyophilized from solution in HCl, pH 2.0. It is recommended to reconstitute troponin I in HCl, pH 2.0Total content of troponin complex is given per troponin I content. It's concentration was determined by gel-scanning (Enhanced Laser Densitometer). Troponin complex is lyophilized from solution in 150 mM KCl, 5 mM CaCl2, 20 mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.5. It is recommended to reconstitute troponin complex in distilled water.

Storage: At - 70 °C

Handling recommendations : Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. It is recommended to aliquot the product) after the first thawing. For better stability it is recommended to prepare stock solutions of troponin complex in serum with final concentration of cardiac troponin I not less than 1000 ng/ml.

-see other animal troponin antigens

Also available: Matched Pair monoclonals and mono-polyclonal for making a cardiac troponin I assay. We also sell the bulk pure Cardiac Troponin I protein-Please inquire!
